Christmas Extravaganza – Covid Update

It is with great frustration and disappointment that we have decided to withdraw Tynewater Parent Council involvement in the Pathhead Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday 18th December.

In the light of the most recent government guidance on social gatherings, we feel this is the only responsible course of action.
The good news is that WE WILL STILL BE RUNNING THE RAFFLE! TIckets will be available to purchase from Parent Council members in the playground from 3.15pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 12.15pm on Friday of this week. The draw will take place on Saturday 18th December.  Tickets cost £1 for a strip of 5. Cash only please.  We have some amazing prizes (click here) and would like to thank our sponsors and donors for their magnificent generosity. Thank you!
We understand that the Craft Fair (which is classed as a shop and therefore subject to different guidance) is still going ahead in Pathhead Village Hall on Saturday. Please support them if you feel able to do so safely.
The Parent Council Christmas Team has put in considerable effort so far, for which we owe huge thanks, particularly to Anna Davanna and Nicola White. The Stair Arms and Davanna Electrics, who sponsored Santa’s Grotto, deserve a mention since their contribution will be held until next year when we hope Santa Claus will be able to visit again!

With all good wishes for the festive season,
Emma Diffley
