The Parent Council, have planned a Tynewater Primary School garden tidy on Saturday 7th May from 12 noon.
The purpose of the tidy is to improve the appearance of the school grounds, but also to prepare the raised beds, so that pupils can enjoy planting in the summer term.
We need your help!! The beds require a lot of maintenance to allow them to be usable to the school, and the more volunteers we can get, the more the children can enjoy this resource. It’s also a lovely way to connect with other parents at the school which has not been easy during the pandemic.
Children are more than welcome, and if you can bring your own gardening tools that would be helpful. Even if you can spare an hour at some point during the afternoon, then the parent council and the teaching staff would very much appreciate it!
We hope to see many of you there!
